velocity boy: Fair enough. I'm just being miserable. It's ok now though!
Also RE long posts tried to post it on another board using Vanilla and it said "this post if xxx characters too long" so I had to split it up like that. I never tried it here. Just copied the sections.

hardhat, ffub: Hello. I'm in Melbourne until the end of Feb. I'm on a working holiday visa (1 year). I'd like to stay longer but I think my gf wants to get back when the year is up. Also I am required to leave so might get in trouble if I stay but apparently ppl do it all the time.
RE lack of cars: I finish work at 5pm. Although that day I left at 10 to. There were some bits where it was pretty busy but I wasn't taking photos then for that reason. I try to stick to quieter roads but some roads (Clarendon St) are unavoidable and almost always busy.
