God I hate BB code. Why not just post in HTML.

BB Code is better than HTML because HTML allows people to break all of the pages. It also allows people to perform XSS attacks that could give them access to other people's logins. So for security and usability, HTML is disabled. Finally, not everyone knows HTML but most people have had some exposure to BB Code.

And Vanilla can handle long posts, up to 8MB in size, I'll prove it to you by re-posting your stuff for you.
