I would've thought the concept of 'metre' is stored in semantic memory (medial temporal lobe), at least in terms of "thinking for speaking/listening", though I'll go along with the idea of the IPS if 'metre' is stored as a distance in space that's been visually attended to. I'll bet the primary motor cortex might play a part too, if 'metre' is recalled as "oh, about this wide [gesturing with arms and hands]" etc.
