The issue I have with aerospokes (other than cost) is durability under a big lad and, probably more of an issue, is repairability (or lack of it).
Say I fold one of my wheels. Out comes the spoke key and wahey! good as new (yeah depends on extent of damage but you get the idea, even if the rim is fscked you can salvage the hub). There's no repairing a trashed aerospoke afaik. Personally I'd love a HED3 for the Soma, for pure pose value. :)

HED3 is much lighter (less composite) and my guess is it'll fail more readily under a big bloke than an aerospoke.
to be honest, by the end of the day it's all about what fits you anyway, some people write off campag cranks because they have a 80kg rider limit but i guess it's sour grapes.
