well, the way I see it, the 2008 will be out in a couple months.. This is usually a £350 bike, being sold for a ridiculously discounted price because noone will want them in 3 months.
nimhbus, it may be cheap and feel cheap, but I don't think it's comparable to halfords £100 bikes.. it may not be scandium or whatever the new materials are for expensive frames, but good old butted 4130CrMo has never let me down before :)
