You can thread a freewheel onto that hub... but yeah, better not to ;)

  • Conan- I went to collage with John and then laura as well

  • Ahhh... you don't need cages or clipless on fixed, but it helps. Nice pedals btw.

i know you dont need cages..i was simply asking dogsballs a question.

  • My apologies. I mistook you calling him a fool, when that coment was justly aimed at murtle ;)

  • Ahh cool Rob, ill probably recognise you when i finally get out on one of these social rides then. Come say hi.

the dmr's grip like glue due to the long pins. plus i like to be able to jump on at any time and not worry bout shoes.

ffub, yeah i've read that b4 ;) , but fixed is so much fun

  • put some power straps on there and it will be skidtastic.

  • i disagree, but i know what you mean. i love skids but with the scarcity of complete white tyres, it's a no-no :(

  • photoben My apologies. I mistook you calling him a fool, when that coment was justly aimed at murtle ;)

ha no worries my nizzel....you know all rude comments are going to be aimed at murtle if hes in the discussion or not:)

hey dogsball, rare indeed - where d'ya get em? oh, and i think the red alter stem looks good. adds just that little bit of colour. keep it red dude

  • they are vittoria open corsa cx's, which i traded with a friend who hardly rides his road bike. front was his old front, rear was a spare which was brand spankin new. they are impossible to find new, the closest is the vittoria robina, but it has the black in the middle of tread :(

yeah the red is growing on me!

  • There's also these (although perhaps not as white?):

  • are they the tyres on your soma hippy? IIRC you can't wait to skid through them.

  • Finding solid white Fortezza's aint easy either :(

  • jonnywilkinson are they the tyres on your soma hippy? IIRC you can't wait to skid through them.

They are the ones on the Soma. Fscking ugly white tyres.. blurgh! yuk! vom! SKIDDY! SKIDDY! :D

  • smeeear is the back wheel on your pista stock but just painted green? I like it. Its weird, as soon as you remove/cover up the decals there's no way of telling that it's a pista :).

Now... as soon as i get back to newcastle i'm going to strip the decals off and take a photo of mine!!
