james was a really tricky player, kept the ball almost under his wheels and had really good low speed control.
i just watched a polo video i found on fgg and the standard seemed lower than our sunday sessions so there is hope!

runcible rakan Aidan he would have kicked your arse.
He's living in london now so will be down every Sunday, and he's gunna try and make us some real mallets to show us how its done ;)
that's exciting news (aidan getting his arse done :P), my bike should hopefully be done by next week, should then learn the real trade of the mallet!
by the way, where did you guys get those 21+ teeth cogs? i want a 23t like rakan's but keirin is called off no jumble for me :(
and can't afford the surly or phil ones!
-

i've got a bunch of cogs i'll bring along from 14 - 20 ish seperates for a fixed wheel no name slightly rusty but they do take a look on sunday
so did you all crash into james to stop him playing ? like bolton do to skillful teams rippers tactics ?
here you go:
was in LA this weekend with the bike, rode along the sea from Santa Monica up to Malibu on saturday, then down to LAX on sunday. Saw a few fixed gears, lots of beach cruisers and many many cars...
Back to NYC now, will take a postcard here too..
see you all at polo on sunday with my new Killer cog - and maybe a NYC-imported mallet! Been playing a bit - I'd forgotten how much faster the game was here.
