dt Problem is, if the place is closed you won't be able to get near enough to even take a look - it's kind of at the end of a long drive behind a load of houses

oh man, I didn't realize it wouldn't be open if there's no scheduled event happening. The NY one is a public park, so anyone can go in whenever. I think its about 5 miles away, so I might still just go to check it out, unless there's something else going on tonight.
