You can get away without having one (had to sometimes) but I live 20k out in the 'burbs and if I get hit by a car who couldn't see me then I'm gonna feel like a complete twat. Plus there's no chance of squeezing 'em for compensation, etc.

But I'm missing lights AND the allen bolt from my redundant tugnut AND I bought new shoes which I'll have to carry around (maybe) :( :)

dammit! i just missed the ride and didnt take anyone number down! i was in front of UBS at 6.41!! then rode to blackfriars!! but nobody there eitehr :(

Saw Heather home to Liverpool St via Old Street where Alex peeled of northwards. I had a really nice ride back again, like Sunday morning there wasn't much traffic going SW. Just love riding at night!

there's derby training on wednesdays and thursdays, but I think I'm going to check out polo on Wednesday. I just want to go for a ride and see it. We have a velodrome in Queens, NY, but its not in a great state.

Problem is, if the place is closed you won't be able to get near enough to even take a look - it's kind of at the end of a long drive behind a load of houses
