I've updated the first post with the current thinking.
I'm considering the start and end locations as fixed. It's just the route to be finalised and the time to be set.
The start time should allow 30 minutes pissing around (as is our wont) and to arrive at the end 30 minutes before official Polo start time.
We should perhaps find time to ride the route and look at the city bit to see if it's cool (landmark, scenery wise, as well as whether the route works well when riding it).
The general gist is that this would be the same ride each time, really social, start at a pub, end with Polo, welcoming and inclusive, pretty easy for everyone, but still interesting for old timers. A social thing :)
