natureboy btw stompy, have you seen Cronenberg's eXistenZ? I thought I was great - the first time I saw it I only started watching in the middle, which is guaranteed to add to the confusion! - serious case of parenthetical dislocation - any LISP programmers out there?

I've seen the beginning a couple of times, but not the whole film.

I gave up on LISP when I gave up on Emacs.

What makes Neuromancer so dope is that it was written in '82. I didn't even have Internet of my own until '93 - and that was bloody telnet @ 28.8.
I think Neal Stephenson tells a better more detailed story although it was Gibson that reinvented Sci-fi.
To those that haven't, read Snow Crash: You'll fucking love it (or Virtual Light by Gibson, they both have a courier thing going on).

I going to punt a guess that its a stylistic hangover from the original courier/messenger workhorses that where thrown together from various found/stolen and borrowed parts.

I kinda' like it.

Not quite in its finished state. The saddle is too high...the deep Vs have machined surfaces and I don't need em...I like it though :-)
