  • jv u can get splendid risers in decathlon for £6

    25.4 too

    are they in black?

  • so far i've only seen silver ones (as on odge and andy's bikes)

  • Have to give away (moving - trying to clear out):

Ladies Terry Liberator, made by Selle Italia - (1) - scuffed with a small tear on one side. Comfy for some, hated by others due to the cutout.

    1" black 105mm threadless stem - (1) - No markings, about 10deg of drop, approx. 105mm centre-to-centre. Beefier than many 1" stems I've seen.

Shimano SLR front brake - (1) - Single pivot, little weather worn, seems like it has all the hardware.

Straight Edge xxx patch - (1) - sewn on/iron on fixed patch. Approx 7cm wide.

Old chopped Brooks saddle (1) url="http://www.tinyblueplanet.com/4sale/Saddle-bottom.jpg" - leathers a little worn and the rivets around the nose are a little pulled out. Good for a polo bike?

    ~~
Bag of nipples - (1) - came free with some DT spokes, 32 x std alloy nipples. Never used, still in bag.~~

BMX brake lever - (1) - Tektro MX brake lever, fits nitto and others, has a clamp which can be bent to the shape of the bars. Feels flimsy but does the job. Works fine with std road brakes.

Fixed patch - (1) - sewn on/iron on fixed patch. Approx 10cm wide.

All free. None if its very sexy but its all functional I believe. Only caveat is that they'll be posted to you from the sticks (Brighton).

  • I like the Fixed patch. Postage?

  • Free! I found 20 quid on the street so that will cover postage for everything (saddles will go 2nd class). Just email me your address and its on the way.

  • anyone got an 18t sprocket? or a 42t 130bcd chainring?.. sprocket might be easier..

    Doon! Tanx mate!

  • now, if you really want to go retro. anyone out there want these? ancient specialized pairs. the blue one says size 44.5 . pedals are wellgo...still smooth. came with stuff i got off ebay..

  • dexterflexter Hi Flatlander would accept some cash for that front hub? £10

    Let me know

    Cheers

    odge

I'll have this if it's still going please....

  • Pip, you've got mail. Thanks a lot for this....

  • Velo seat off my new bianchi pista, black with shiny silver vinyl strip, only few rides use.

Sylvan chrome touring pedals, holes for toe-clips, brand new, had on for 1 day.

~~Bianchi 1" head stem ~100mm long, silver anodised finish with white bianchi logo on one side, the other with ~~bianchi/anodising removed, (would clean up nice), think the clamp is rough 25.4-26mm (as i can fit most bars inc cinelli tempo's)

Pair of front and rear bianchi high-flange hubs with Alex rims, fixed/free, 700cx23, few small gutter rashes, run perfect, with tape/nuts
    -see in this thread http://www.londonfgss.com/discussion/1207/looking-for-a-new-front-andor-rear-fixed-wheel/#Item_14
    -maybe gone already

MAYBE - Cinelli tempo bars, widish ~44cm, weird thick clamp section 26mm, shortened, clamp area little rough, just been cleaned to clear up scratches, but should come up nice with sand-paper/polish

    18-20T fixed cog + lockring

  • skoota Hi there, has anyone got a 1 1/4 inch headset knocking about from the early 90's? I have a mountain bike i am fixing up?

    No. . .

But I have a brand new Klein MC3 stem in 1 - 1/4 if you are interested.

  • Set up as a single thread - this is not an ideal format for a swap/trade gathering point.

It would be better if there was another sub-forum where individual items - up for trading/swapping - had their own thread.

    Just an idea.

    Whadyareckon ?

    Leeeeee

  • i'd love a 17t sprocket in 1/8", if anyone has one about ....

  • Yeah a brand new Condor CNC 17T 1/8th one..

  • unxetas anyone got an 18t sprocket? or a 42t 130bcd chainring?.. sprocket might be easier..

got an 18t 1/8 condor sprocket - was going to use it with 49t chainring but then decided to go for a 46t instead.

  • how much do you want for that? Don't think I have much left to trade.. A couple of almost brand new kenda tyres? Good for skidding :D

  • dexterflexter Yeah the specialized one, how about the formula one? Are you on the bridges ride tonight? Did you get rid of the rear one already?

Yeah the Specialized one is available still. Not gonna be doin Bridges tonight, but What I might do is take this stuff to work with us at Bikefix - Lamb's Conduit Street, HOlborn - feel free to drop by during the week and ask for Treva. Think SMEEAR is avin the rear hub.

  • yes he bloody is :)

46x18 is great for the autistically minded: 100rpm=20mph, 90rpm=18mph, 80rpm=16mph, etc. Very neat and tidy :S

    wow didn't realise that :)

just don't get too absorbed into counting the RPM calculating how fast you are and not watching the traffic ;P

Not on my fixed 20" shopper (end: pedant) :P

  • if you want to be totally pedantic you need to find the perfect tyre too... not all of them have the same height anyway
