it's a great idea.
my only suggestion is to make it the 2nd or 3rd sunday of the month, because whenever people choose the nth x of the month, they tend to pick the first or the last, which means that some people (eg me) already have something happening on the first sunday - i have a folk music session that I promised to make more of an effort to go to and i'd hate to have to choose and miss one or the other each month. Also, the 2nd sunday would be half-way between critical masses .. which is .. good .. I suppose ..
