What are you looking for in the catering side of things?
I have a few Japanese friend and can ask them if they know any caterers who would suit the occasion, but it would be good to know what the real question is before I ask it. Is this for a outdoor catering stall/unit? Or is there a kitchen down at HH that could be used? And what are your expectations, large pots of Japanese noodles, or Sushi and delicacies?
Let me know roughly where your mind is at and I'll put some feelers out to see if anyone within the Japanese community I know has contacts that would be ideal for you.

Winston, we can give you access to the calendar if you have a gmail address. You have tons of stuff on so it would make it easier for you to promote it. Just let one of us know your gmail account.

I know the jap supermarket in the Jap centre on the corner of piccidilly and regent st does sushi catering trays for a couple of local businesses. They are very cheap to buy lunch in compared to other places take away prices.

what is track racing in London like? I have raced at the Kissena Velodrome in Queens, New York, and there are never that many females that show up to race. It averages around 2-5 women per race. Is it like that here or are there more serious women riders?

Track and beer!
Keirin-Fest 2007, The London Open GP
will be happening on Monday 27 August...(Bank Holiday Monday)
a whole afternoon of Keirin racing.....with entry for all categories of riders. Spectators welcome and free.
Event website: http://www.keirin.cc this site will be updated as more attractions for the event are added.
The team from Speed, Skills and Sausages are presenting this Keirin event, we hope to carry over the same social atmosphere os "sausages" with food, bar and jumble sale.
This event WILL have a competition for non-BC licensed riders.....essentially I'm targeting you guys and couriers to enter this "Go-Race" category...excellent opportunity to step straight into the world of keirin racing....only proviso, you must have completed track induction at HH or any other UK track.
We are looking for volunteers, we're gonna need a lot of pushers! so if any of you guys want to help out let me know.
Also if anyone has serious contacts for sponsorship and / or Japanese caterers let me know.....We've got plenty of ideas up our sleeves but a few more can't hurt.
I would like to get as much track / fixed specific stuff at the Jumble so if Roberto or Brick Lane bikes are reading this....contact me.
see you there.
