Yup.
If we're ending slightly East. And we want to show some sights and pass through the City. Then we start slightly West.
If we want new riders and riders who may be new to the city (visitors from the US for example), we should pick a meeting place that is so god damn big that it is a magnet for even those who don't know the roads.
Hence my suggesting somewhere around Hyde Park, everyone can find Hyde Park.
Unfortunately there's few pubs that spring to mind... The Swan next to Lancaster Gate station? Something on High Street Kensington?
Suggestions for a really obvious meeting point that is in the vicinity of Hyde Park (a few streets off is fine as long as it's obvious) would be welcome.
