That critique of the GGWS was excellent :) Anyone who was convinced or even just doubts global warming should watch that. It is long, but it is necessary to cut through the nonsense in the documentary.
edmundane i also adhere to the don't waste stuff attitude myself. i once worked in a restaurant as a sub for a friend just to help out. it disgusts me so much how much stuff comes back into the kitchen untouched on the plates that goes straight into the bin. it hurts so much that i don't think i can work in catering at all anymore.
Yeah, it's shocking. The amount of waste in the record store I work in is terrible too. Thankfully, cardboard is recycled (there's is a huge amount that comes through the stock room doors everyday) but paper/plastic isn't. Every morning you have to go round with a list of specific items and check they're on the shelves, and the printer can print double sided but people don't send the jobs to it as a double sided print out. You end up with loads of sheets of paper saying "No records" thrown in the bin too.
I recycle loads at home though :) And compost food scraps!
