edmundane There are too many outlying factors to so called global warming than CO2, and there are many many other impacts on the environment when you drive a car. Try to find this documentary called "The great global warming swindle" and watch it. Human beings aren't really producing as much CO2 to really affect the climate that much... the oceans are actually the largest emitters of CO2, so global warming might actually just be a bunch of bollocks invented by climate scientists who want research money.

It's always obvious how these people who are trying to make a point will present you with something that sounds well radical by abusing statistics - because that brings media coverage and sadly, this is how the system works because there are just too many people out there who are sheep and believe in whatever misleading crap they say in the london paper/the sun/mirror etc...

This really, really fscks me off, big time. I'm not going to hold back here: I'm not some dumb Sun reading moron. Global warming is happening. Just go and read the back issues of magazines like New Scientist where the whole, fscking terrible, documentary of the "swindle" of global warming is torn apart bit by bit. The research that those scientists use has been totally discredited, THREE TIMES. First, they made errors in producing graphs, secondly, they used the wrong satellite data, and on the third attempt there were mathematical errors.

Edit: Pretty much all scientific knowledge is attained through peer-review. The "facts" put forward the by the creators of the Great Global Warming Swindle were all shown to be incorrect, through peer review. However, in order to create a skandal, Channel 4 allowed them to produce and then broadcast this documentary, which itself has not been peer-reviewed. Basically, the program is nonsense.
