Winston asked me if we'd be interested in having a London FG SS Roller Race some time later in the year.

I've been meaning to run the idea past whoever I met out and about at the Snow or some place, but work has overtaken me and I've not seen much of anyone this past week. So how about we just use the forum!

The original message is:

Do you think that you and the guys on the forum would be interested in having your own roller race? for you and other cyclists like yourselves in London....we could probbaly come up with some ideas similar to the Rapha roller challenge type format to get others involved too.

It would probably be a fiver to get in plus £2 to race and pub price bar and would need about 200 attendees in total to be viable...

maybe September? if things went really well we would, of course, consider donating a proportion of revenue over a certain amount to a chosen charity.

This is just an idea we've discussed, so if you want to talk to some of the guys without putting it on the forum then get back to me with your thoughts?

I'm out of the country for a sizeable chunk of September (12th to 30th), so selfishly I would opt to do it later. October is a no-no from Winston, but November could be a go.

What do you all think to the idea?
Do you think we can get the numbers required (200)?
