bmx seats are usually spaced all over the place and people just pop them into place.. they're usually a fair bit tougher than road gear though, so proceed with caution.. :P

rolls is not a bmx saddle, it's a classic road saddle.
i've got one and don't seem to have any problems with it. sometimes you do have to sort of squeeze it in a little but it shouldn't be a problem (e.g. my san marco regal) - i sort of just slip it in and as i tighten up the bolt it'll naturally sit flush.all my saddles are italian (san marco, selle italia and isca) and they all work fine with my seatposts.

Prize it open as you're tightening and it will push into place. Bit of a pain but works out well. You also get to enjoy the benefit of having a 'rolls'! ;-)

oh I am mad alright! grr.
Hi
I bought one of these for my fixie, but the rails seem to be spaced at 40mm apart, rather than the usual 45mm.
I've listed it on eBay, thinking it was a one-off, but I've just seen another and its exactly the same...
Is there an uncommon Italian rail width that I don't know about, or should I just get physical and force the rails apart?
Cheers
