Spotted at the Portobello Triathlon 2007 on Sunday....

what are the disciplines in the portobello triathlon ?
10ml skag injection ?
smoking a doobie ?
antique browsing ?

That'd be Portobello, Edinburgh's seaside...

Complete with swim in the Firth of Forth from a beach that is on its final cleanliness warning...

Looks like the bikes been for a swim in there....

That does not look like magic to me. -shudders-

whats good about those setups, is that when the chain skips (as it will) it'll just jump to another cog and you can keep going.

Just have to hope that it doesn't skip too far off into the dropout :)

Or off the front, yikes.

Look at that! that gears so low, its a reverse gear

I thought that while looking at a motorbike yesterday. Then i realised he didnt have to pedal. I didnt say it out loud but i still went bright red with embarassment and the person i was with thought i'd wet myself or something
