I was worried on the last one, but it wasn't so bad.
With the exuberance of the start, the pace was a bit high but it settled down. There was communication along the line (AKA shouting), and we stopped for punctures, comfort breaks and saddle adjustments.
Get a couple of mobile phone numbers at the start in the unlikely event of being left alone, and you'll be fine.
Seriously; I managed it last time. Nobody complained about me hanging off their wheel for a free ride, either.
