there are many ways to clean those bars.
you could use sticky stuff remover.
or if its lots of crap aswell get a metal scourer(?) and get it all off and
then put oven cleaner on them and buff them up with wet and dry then polish them.
there is a tutorial somewhere on how to do that properly.
you could tape over?
