I want to get on a bike ASAP. I'm down to learn as much as I can, but I'm thinking that a new set of wheels for at least £150, then a new crank at £80ish, then all the chainline malarkey and the parts that go with it ain't going to get me on a bike any time soon. There's got to be £250 need for parts, before I start spending the time...
Perhaps I should go down the Fuji route to get riding, then do the project bike to learn the mechanics?
I feel like the annoying forum 15 year old who can't make up his mind... aarrgggh.
