I've got 4 pairs of Crank Bros pedals - the eggbeaters, quattros, mallets and acids. Never had any problem with any of them not releasing or releasing prematurely. If i was being critical I would say that the cleats are expensive and pretty soft (intentionally) so wear down quite quickly.
