winston Massive respect for those that completed the Dynamo in those conditions....much joviality was had at Rollapaluza along the lines of "thank gow we're not riding to Dunwich" as we watched it tip down outside.....hoho
Well done you guys, anyone have warm enough fingers to take pictures?
Take a look at http://uel-media1.uel.ac.uk/raddie/dd15.wmv
I'll try and get smaller clips up on youtube soon.
I didn't film the middle section of the ride out of respect for the ride and riders. I didn’t want to belittle the effort and achievement by making a tacky, crappy video - no one wants to see anyone jack it in at 4am or hear me drifting off into another less wet dimension before sun rise.Favourite part – after getting lost in a group of six (actually rode into a farm yard) just after sunrise and finally getting back on the right road (confirmed by seeing bikes ahead and behind.
Worst part – getting going again after feeding station at 2:30. Teeth were chattering for first couple of miles.
Will I be there on 19th July 2008 - YES!

my knees have only just stopped hurting.
David. I didn't use your ticket in the end, tried to give it to another FGSS member but it seemed everyone was sorted for transport, was about to wander around the park to see if i could donate it to a worthy cause only to be asked by somebody else who was trying to give away their ticket.
looks like there was space on the coaches due to drop-outs and no-shows. -
