vanessa Apparently, the proportion of cyclists that are female is 40%+. I see loads of women on the roads in London. There must be girls on the forum! What do you all talk about that puts them off?
This forum aimed specifically at people who ride singlespeed (i.e. no gear change) and fixed wheel (i.e. no gear change, and you have to pedal all the time the bike is moving). Some people on here ride bikes with no brakes. Although there are girls who ride fixed, it tends to be a bit of a boys thing (a bit like listening to The Smiths).
We talk about hubs, cogs, chainline, toe-overlap, beer and riding. Dunno about anyone else, but that puts Mrs Willski off.
