  • ask them how many seconds it took them to come up with there grate "rock" image

  • What personal qulaities do you need to be in the towers of London?

  • At what point in your career did you start wearing sungalss inside?

    or

At what point in a rock stars career can you start wearing sunglasses inside?

  • lmao@brick!

  • How much does your hair dresser charge you to give you that "straight out of bed" hair style?

  • If you do use any of these tell us what they say. I like to hear poeple digging there own grave.

Have any of your fans moved out of their parents house yet?

  • how much longer do they think it will be b4 they are dropped by there record lable for not selling records

  • That does it.. google time..

Okay, so they're a band. They look like Motley Crew after a shower.

  • One more

"You website seems to have a spelling error they have plastered "I am a rat" accross all of the band members faces. When will this be rectified"

  • They wish they were Motley crew.

  • Sun's out!!!!!!!!

  • Call em FakeSexPistolers

  • theres no point he dicks on them

  • photoben I'm cycling to Camden tonight to photograph/interview Towers of London. Should get nice and wet. Anyone got any questions I can ask the pretentious tossheads?

I was about to say I nearly saw them and then I realised I was thinking Tower of Rome. People really need to come up with imaginative names.

    Grinnnnnnndddddcore.

    "LOLZCORE"

  • photoben They wish they were Motley crew.

that is not a good thing at all...

I've heard them, they're rubbish. but then so is most music these days. Label A&R don't hunt talent, they try to hunt sales and it almost always ends quickly

  • Crüe.

These days, if you want to make the music you really want to then enough technology is generally available for you to be able to make it and allow others to hear it. Just don't expect to make a living out of it. If your "talent" gets spotted and you're signed up AKA "Living The Dream" then you're likely to spend years jumping through hoops to please your employers. Obviously there are exceptions, but if the music's really what matters to you then just get on and do it.

I've just realised that this thread is entitled "The Great British Weather". Erm...it was pissing down earlier but stopped before I came home. Yay. If the SW winds keep up this weekend then we're laughing all the way to Dunwich....

  • Shhhh.. they'll hear you..
Met office says W. I like.

  • Tower of rubbish

  • Yep.

I noticed today when returns that go back to suppliers were being processed that a load of Towers stuff was being sent back. We had sold only 1 of their CDs in the last couple of months, haha.

  • hmm honest, i prefer them over the horrors. at least towers of london's got some comedy value they make me laugh everytime i see them. the horrors are simply... i can't find a word to describe how crap they are.

  • Yeah, the Horrors are another rubbish band. The people that buy their CD are usually awful, too, i.e. really badly backcombed hair, far too much makeup, and a bad smell.

  • RPM denim is shit when it gets wet. heavy and takes fucking forever to dry..

the only reason I can think of for having goretex on the inside is so you can piss yourself and no-one will notice..

until it runs out over your shoes..

hippy I don't really see the point. If your lined jeans get wet then they still look like you've pissed yourself or whatever - it's just that your legs remain dry. What's the point?

Having seen them up close I can safely say they look as good as any regular pair of jeans. Seen a glass of water poured over them and it runs straight off, no dampness or anything. Yes, it ends up on your shoes tho ;)

  • Goretex shoes.. ;)

  • They look quite ugly considering they're SIDI, I think.

Monthly out look says wet then a week of sun then goodby summer :(.

Monday 20th August to Sunday 26th August 2007
    rain falls street and trees

    “Unseasonably wet and windy.”

Low pressure straddles the UK to begin the week. Gradually it will be displaced eastwards, allowing high pressure to drift in from the Atlantic.

From Monday through to Wednesday the low pressure and rain will focus across eastern counties of England. A stiff northerly wind will add to the misery, with temperatures held in the mid-teens.

Elsewhere it will become dry, with the best of any sunshine across western Scotland and Northern Ireland. The brisk wind will slowly ease, but temperatures will struggle to reach above 20 Celsius.

Heading towards the weekend, high pressure will briefly take control. Lighter winds and sunshine should at least bring a warmer feel to most places, although the nights will still be quite cool.

Over the weekend, temperatures may reach the mid-20s Celsius across the south of the UK, with some more sunshine. Atlantic weather fronts further north will keep it breezier and cooler with the risk of rain, especially for northern Scotland.
Monday 27th August to Sunday 2nd September 2007
blue sky, white clouds, trees, river

    “Some holiday weather at last.”

High pressure looks like staying in control across much of the UK. This will ensure plenty of dry and pleasantly warm weather, with fairly light winds.

The greatest risk of rain will be furthest from the centre of the high pressure - most likely across the far north of Scotland.
    Monday 3rd to Sunday 16th September 2007
    grey sky above sea

“Summer is over - here comes Autumn.”

Gradually the high pressure will loosen its grip, and as children return to school, so the rain-clouds will start to gather again.

The high pressure will be last to retreat from southern areas, so some September warmth may hang on across southern England. However by mid-month, it will be mostly breezy and unsettled again.

Any sign of an 'Indian Summer'? Find out next week.

    Monthly forecasting
The weather beyond about a week ahead stretches even the most experienced weather forecaster. Complex numerical weather forecast models from the Met Office and the European Centre for Medium Range Weather Forecasting (ECMWF) are run many times for the month (and season) ahead to build up a picture of the likelihood of different weather types affecting the UK.
