I really like my Langster but i hate how specialized have a new range that are trying to stereotype how your bike should look for that city you live in.. I have an 05 Langster which I love because its simple. I like the 06 Langster but was a bit unsure of the Goth / flecked look on the graphics but at the end of the day they were still the same bike with track geometry and seen a few of them at Herne Hill.
The 07 I’m sorry but they painted Goth skulls on it and messed with the geometry, tho they did put carbon forks and nice protectors on the track ends. But the new range... could you get anymore of a corporate attempt at cool.. I haven’t seen any or had a chance to check out what they have changed on the frame geometry but how many different ones are there? 8? 10?
:(

I saw someone riding one last night and wondered what it was.
They may as well have an "I jumped the bandwagon" sign on them.

Just saw the white London one. Looks like a bloody clown bike. You can tell it was designed by an American, all pictures of crowns, bulldogs and a union jack spesh logo. Quite like the white chain mind. To put on another bike.
Why isn't it British Racing Green?

the 08 standard does look pretty good.. I almost bought one but realized I really couldn't afford it! Couldn't convince my company to buy me one with the 'cycle 2 work' either grrr.
It is a corporate attempt a being cool and what not, but.. they did turn out pretty nice. Not the London one though, yuck.

Yeah, the New York one is pretty cool.

wonder wnat New Yoikers think of it though? they probably prefer the London one...
-
• #15
Saying that, cause it's made to look like a new york taxi they'll blend in so well to the traffic no-one will see you! I predict a few accidents....

brett Next Year's range will be from more "offbeat" destinations.
Langster Delaware, Langster Slough, Langster Milton Keynes...the slough one's got to have a really low saddle, 24" wheels and BMX bars + pedals.
I had to take the tube this morning so picked up a copy of the metro to
see the London langster featured in the back.
I then get to work and the latest cycling weekly arrives again featuring the london langster.
how many will be sold this weekend?
