yup, it looks like a very old do it all frame , Trampsparadise owns something similar.

I've had a couple of frames like this none with gear bosses though but
one had a gear hanger. Currently have one with bottle holes and mudguard eyes.
Seems to be common for early 60's frames. -

Looks like a path/grass track racer frame. Designed so you could ride to events with mud-guards and brakes on, take 'em off, race, put the bits back on and ride home.
They were quite popular in the 1950s/60s.
Its a really nice score if its genuine (its a really nice score regardless, the stars on the seat stays are pretty fresh). Paramount stuff fetches quite a premium in the states.

nice frame
I picked up this lovely lugged frame off ebay for cheap(ish), It has track ends but then gear lever bosses, 120 mm spacing etc, I'm confused! has someone added their own track end at some point? it should make it easier to convert right?...
