Yes Martin Lucas he was going well .
Was Steve Abrahams riding?
Yes Steve was riding his usual 86" fixed he rides so smoothly and is very strong, he did 436miles he certainly overtook me enough.
What bars were you using (the broken ones I mean)?
I had an old pair off a Raleigh that fitted the stem so I usded them, the broken cracked pair were ITM but I seem to have a penchant for snapping bars four pairs and one stem in the last three years.
Two resulted in trips over the bars, the worst at 25mph I was sprinting out of the saddle and ended up skidding along on my arse and collected a Japanese flag shape bit of road rash.
Steel Nitto ones next I think

Yes most were geared only four on fixed, Steve Abraham, my friend Mike Friday, myself and one other that I never spotted.
Eamonn Deane was the 501 miles guy from Bournemouth Jubilee club, I could hear his disc wheel coming every time he overtook me.
