Yeah, you'll get that at any uni - particularly the highly ranked ones. I was interviewed at Oxford (had to stay for 3 days!) and I hated it so much that by the last day I was near the point of withdrawing my application. in the group of 30 or so people being interviewed, only a couple of people including myself were from a state funded sixth form! I was sick and tired of the number of people going on about bloody rowing and how they row with Steve Redgrave etc, and the constant fscking name dropping or details of what car "Daddy" bought them!
I'll be the first person in my family to go to uni :) I'm not rich - I'm working full time over the summer so that I just about have enough money to last me the first year! I can't stand posh people. No one better even think about trying to degrade me by flashing their wealth.
