My friend just emailed me to say she's playing at the Hamswell Festival and it reminded me about hippys suggestion for a ride to Bath. I know it's short notice but the festival seems pretty cool, and a good excuse for a ride.
This what she's put about it:
And, more free-spirited than a free spirit, on Sat 11th August I'm playing at Hamswell Festival – it's "the UK's freshest event for original live music and progressive arts ( http://www.hamswellfestival.com ) It's set on beautiful farmland just outside of Bath in a sunny green valley and features acoustic soloists and poetic MCs, through to samba bands, folk balladeers, and funk infused techno and beats. It's a three-day party, on a farm, in the sunshine :) Weekend ticket including camping and car park £30, or car-share special, 4 tickets for £100 (When you're buying a ticket, type in my name and you'll help me get paid! )
