    i suspect it might weigh the same as the ice, but will have less volume so will reduce the air pressure.[/quote]

    I am well awear of this but a bike frame is not air tight

    A drain hole would solve this easily.

    I except that this is prob a joke however these reasons are ones which would stop this.
