TheBrick(Tommy) Thanks for the info. Are there any good 100km ish loop rides you know that start off from south east London I think you said you where living in Bromley I am near Woolwhich so I guess it would be things like out to the meadway?
I'm in Bexleyheath, it depends what for a leisure ride I like heading down to Laddingford the Chequers is a great pub and there is always the Padwell Arms at Stone Street on the way back aswell.
For faster training ride I head out through Bexley, Swanley, Eynsford, Otford Pilgrims way to Wrotham and ride as much of the other 100km route as I want to.
That heads out via Ightam, Hadlow, Laddingford, West Peckham and down to Charing Heath.
For something harder there is always the Grimpeur ride that I have organised the last three years
Otford, Rowdow Hill, Exedown Hill, Ightam, One Tree Hill, Riverhill, Hubbards Hill, Baileys Hill, Yorks Hill back to Otford
I have route checked that on 68" fixed and I have to walk One Tree and Yorks they are just to steep for me but road them in the past on gears
