I carried a bike frame w/ fork and stem on the god voice D E E P! T U B E! with no probs. Just don't try it peak hour (5-7ish).
When you know where you are ending up, let us know and we can formulate optimum plan.. taking in the most pubs possible yeah? that's the optimum route usually.. right?
