Just fill the ny 3000 with as much bike and post as you can, and you'll be fine. I get my cranks parallel to the seat stays and put the lock around them as well. I'll take a pic tomorrow if it doesn't make much sense.
The NY fug is the same size as the evo mini but nearly twice the weight because the fug has a locking mechanism on each end of the u shaped bit. The evo mini has only one, and a hooked bit. See my review of it in the reviews category for pictures.
