looks goos scott not scot. I made one the other day and tried it out on the bridges ride they work quite well. Even if you have a bag I think they can be usefull to take heavy items like tools and locks out of your bag and palce the weight on your hips. Plus it frees up some space in your bag if it is full.
I also agree a good sytem for converting it into a saddle bag would be good I think reload hip pouch has that feature. I guess you could just do it with a short piece of webbing running through the belt loop.
Here is a project for you. A carriage style big saddle bag with a quick realise mechanisum for when you popo into the shops plus some sort of quickly removable shoulder strap if you are sopping and starting alot or walking about so you can sling it on your shoulder. I love these big saddle bags but that is pro just me.
