It's interesting.. certainly full of characters! Not loads of riding though. To be honest I've only watched it once and still haven't got around to the booklet.
Might watch it again and give you more info :) -

I´ve found torrents to both movies, Pedal has finished, but still waiting for a seed on Red light . . ) if they´re any good, I´ll order them (if not, delete them!).

i bought pedal when i was in france and getting into fixed gear and full of questions. now there is a growing fixed community in paris, but at the time i had only seen two fixed bikes in a whole year.
the video didn't supply many answers, didn't show much riding, but was an interesting look at the messenger scene in new york.
for street fixed gear riding, i can't recommend MASH enough, i saw it in december and have been waiting for the dvd ever since. it's like lucas brunelle alley cat footage but longer.
as for the book it comes with, i almost like that more than the video... -

I've got a copy of Pedal. It's OK, but there's a lot of "How grim is it to live in NY with fuck-all money?" and not much of "Let's ride our bikes really really fast."

Totally, the film is a bit boring after a while and quite predictable...

Does anyone have Hollentour or know where I can get it?
Roberto: do you ebay cycling films as well? -
• #19
Got this and agree with the boring comments.
The packaging is good and the booklet also but I thought the DVD wasn't the best really. As has been said it should've focused more on the riding, etc.
Waiting for MASH on DVD whenever that's out?

hippy Roberto: do you ebay cycling films as well?
Dude, i have quite a few - Pedal, Red Light Go, Hell on Wheels and others - also have Messenger and Still We Ride, but they're in Brazil - let me know if you want a copy...

Still We Ride is f***ing cool. I reccomend it.
MASH, well, it's very nicely photographed, but I got bored. You'll see all that stuff next weekend at London's Calling and the weekend after in Dublin at the CMWC

I don't have: Hell on Wheels, Messenger or Still We Ride and I'd be interested in getting them.

-

I've got Sunday In Hell. Loved watching it and have watched it a couple of times.
Want to borrow it? Or I can lend you a backup copy wink, wink.

Is that the same as Hollentour?
Nup! Hollentour = Hell on Wheels.
"sometimes I ride my bike so fast, feels like i'm on the air!"
check out the trailer (the crash at the end),
