Since about 1994. Courier, despatch rider, messenger, errand-doer, whatever. All just over-grown paper-boys with bad attitudes.

"courier" sounds continental and exciting, despatch rider sounds important, you can imagine a despatch rider taking emergency blood to life saving operations etc, but messenger! you may as well stick "boy" on the end of it or use "gofer"....I don't care if it's the "mot du jour" for the job it's UGLY.

and I love the word "couriering"

couriering... what about careering? career as a courier... that's an obvious choice stef the chef.

le mot du jour is "shopper", as bill pointed out on MT that fixies are soooo last year. when all the fakenger poseurs switch over to shoppers the we wont have any "-enger's" left then the word courier will resurface

im not a messenger, im a fakendesigner, i messenger to pay the bills, but i ride fixed and a crome bag to fit in with my graphic designer mates
