First time build questions

cornelius, i have been on the look out for a while and keep going back to look at that frame for a while it's nice man.
i'm guessing has it got a 1 1/8 head tube??

yeah a 1 1/8 head tube, a 68mm english threaded bottom bracket and takes a 120mm rear hub. Geometry measures out to be rather similar to the Soma Smoothie I ride.

What is that pin on the levers supposed to do? I have Campag brakes on the Soma (they suck!) and it doesn't seem to do anything because there's bits of plastic that the pin meets on both sides - it doesn't seem to matter which side the pin is on?

One way or another the pin(s) should allow the lever to move upwards into the hood to slacken the brake cable.

That's what I figured after reading the above. I thought maybe in the middle but nup. I've not even bothered to look at them until now. I'd love to rip 'em off and swap for Shimano but too much hassle.

One of them looks ever so slightly higher.

The Campag brakes don't have quick release on them, the quick release on the levers. Only applies to Record and perhaps Chorus. The lower models have quick release on the brakes themselves.
