Just got childseat for fixed beater. Will be gearing down to about 65", running slightly wider (ie softer tyres) for his comfort, and cruising around a lot slower (15mph?), at least until he starts chanting "faster, faster!".
I expect I'll be redressing the balance though, when I get out on my own...
