bikesoiler (oz mate) built an ss mtb with a left-hand drive. It's doable but you need to watch for stuff unscrewing.
PITA if you ask me. Someone build a central drive though - that'd be cool - I love symmetry. Plus, the TT aero nuts will love you forever..
