brake cable cutter...

Because this is an open forum I can't be too specific, but I just got my revenge on the motoring class.
I was riding into work on a suburban street in London, riding about 35KM per hour in the middle of my lane. It was quiet on my side of the street except for a few cyclists I passed.
Up on the right was parked a flatbed truck blocking the lane.
It must have been sat there for a while but as I drew past the cab I heard its engine start.
At that moment a late-model Mercedes convertible swung round from behind the truck and took near the full width of my lane.
In that split-second of thinking I was to die and how angry that made me I managed to get real slim between the curb and car, decking the mirror as I just squeaked though.
The driver must have got distracted by me whacking his mirror and/or not realised the truck was now moving because I heard a sick crunching of metal and two sets of brakes squealing as the nose of the Merc snuggled into the side of the flatbed's trailer.
Of coarse I didn't stop, being a London cyclist I'm jaded, leave them sort out their own mess. I will get blamed for it either way.
I have come out worst in many a situation where some impatient motorist couldn't wait a few seconds more for me to exercise my right-of-way, today I got my revenge. -

I wasn't going to stop, not worth the hassle, so no pictures sorry.
The only thing I shouted was "FUCK" when I thought I was going to die. Amazing how eloquent you can be in times of stress.

as you said, you would have gotten blamed for it regardless of your position. glad you're alright and i'm sure the merc can get sorted out via insurance.

Oh yeah and the day before yeasterday I had some kid play chicken whith me as I was powering along in a line of traffic. did not even see the untill the last min, very sideways very quickly.
More people should masterbate.

If this guy was seriously hurt in the accident and you are tracked this is pretty damning evidence that you maliciously damaged the car in the run up to a more serious accident. I think you should delete the content.

No I stand by it, I had right-of-way, he was impatient, fuck him.

I read it that the mirror whack was an accidental by-product of squeezing through the (suddenly) tight space...

Hmmm, I have to say I agree with knucklehead that it is risky that you've posted it on here. Admittedly it is so unlikely anything will come of it but you never know really.
Car drivers do my head in when they think they have total right of way on the roads, even when they don't. Every day I ride home through a set of cross roads with traffic lights. Parked half in my lane and half on the pavement are some cars, like 3-4m from the junction. I slow down as I approach slightly, look over my shoulder and ALWAYS there is a car trying to overtake me, even though it is obvious that I'm moving out. Then I get sandwiched between them and the parked car :@
The other day one person had the cheek to toot their horn at me not only behind me but after the junction as well! "Fscking wanker!"

Don't leave it so late to move out. Take the lane before you get to the parked cars.
Then use your rocket launcher (well, what do YOU keep in your bag's secret pocket?) to take out the stupid fsck in the car. -
• #24
I'm not. I'm probably 30m away from the car when I begin to look over my shoulder and stare the driver out with my evil glare every 5 seconds :) About 20m away I start shifting out, if I can...

Move to the middle of the lane.
