Well heres my problem:
I'm slowly building up my fixie bit by bit, but I have had to stall its progress due to bank balance (about £3, i'm a poor art student) but luckily my next paycheck is due in about a week (ish) and i have some stuff on ebay
Power Kite Anyone?
The trouble is I keep looking at the bits I need, and i just can't wait... I can hear my overdraft calling, but so far i'm resisting
Anyone got any ideas of some little things I can go to my frame?

Hang on. We've at the end of the academic year and you haven't hit your overdraft yet? I'm impressed! I spend my years student loan in one go on my D100 and lens and had to max my overdraft or it would have been baked beans on smart price pasta n pesto for a year.

Ahhh. Good luck, though I'm sure you have better money control than me - I'm this close to paying it off for the third time since uni after leaving 4 years ago. As soon as some company pays me the vast some of money they owe me I'll be free!

Splatbucket which college? I'm at CSM. I know some friends who powerkite, it pulled me along the floor and scratched my back up somethin terrible! Fun though.

Ravensbourne, yer it is good fun, this is/was one of many, i'll still have one left after this though, but its just been sitting on a shelf for a while (it seems that the wind has died this year) i have tried like longboarding along a sea front path, that was good fun, all a bit crazy though, kite biking would just be a death wish though, even more so fixed. lol

Yer it should be great, but your right about the campus, it does look pretty um.... crappy, ohwell, only about 10 miles to central london, not bad if you ask me.

Twenty minutes from London Bridge or a not-to-unpleasant 40 minute ride through South London.
