Cheers for the concern. I was fine after the crash, continued riding home. But then I had to brake hard 15 min later, and the fork distorted more and my front wheel hit the frame, sending me over the handlebars for a second time! Just a few cuts and scrapes though.
My bike was outside UCH before the crash, I work as a nurse there.
Any one got any 55-57cm frames lying around they don't want (budget sub £150) ;)

Bad luck on that mate. I'm upgrading soon probably, planning to dismantle my current bike so i might have a frame for you. its not exactly brilliant, raleigh eclipse reynolds 501, pictures in the bikes to faces + what bikes do you ride thread. its white with blue tyres. Bought it as a 56 cm, but i think its a few cm bigger.
If you're really pushed for a frame let me know and i'll tell you when i'm done with it. Won't be done with it for a few weeks mind. I won't ask for much,no more than £30-£40 for the frame+forks.
Or you could just borrow it till you can afford a better one :)

Gav I have an old Raleigh frame salvaged from a skip, hand painted a horrible mustard colour but yours if you want it.
Reynolds 501 approx 22" If I can get to the back of the shed tomorrow I'll measure it accurately for you. -

Two crashes in one is nasty. Glad you're all right though.
I have a beat up old Raleigh Pro Track Frame (56cm, Reynolds 531). Was planning to bring it up to HH for the London Calling track day. Would want some coin for it though. Can email for pictures etc.

Is it one of the red/yellow/black T.I. Raleigh ones?

hippy
Is it one of the red/yellow/black T.I. Raleigh ones? No, it was one of the sexier red/blue/white ones (handmade by Carlton Cycles in 1973). But it was painted matt black a while back. Doesn't look like much but rides well.

Pip, i might be interested if Gav, doesn't want it....
I found a really easy way to convert the geometry of my Dawes touring frame into a track frame, crash it into a motorbike. Oh dear.
