Tommy those hubs look fantastic. thanks for the link, and it yer i'm trying to not skimp too much, but also I dont want to put too much money into something i've never tried before, the way i'm looking at it is: build as cheap as possible initially, see what fixed riding is actually like, and then providing all goes well either upgrade or build another better one. That make sence?
On the update front I do now have a front wheel now. I popped into halfords, (just happened to be passing) and discovered that an old friend worked there now. I told him about my fixie thoughts n how the next thing on the list was wheels, he disappears for a minute and come back holding a wheel, it came in a box of wheels, but was completely un-branded n wasnt on the stock chart, so now for £8 i now have a front wheel, its nice and light, and spins true, so i'm pretty happy with it.
