just get a gmail account and then set up account forwarding so you can send and receive email via gmail.

Although that might not work either if the dns or whatever is messed up on your domain.

you can do that with Gmail. Just set up forwarding to forward to gmail, and change your from address in gmail to smear@smear.

honestly all hosting in this country is not quite up to par with the ones in the states...
webfusion owned by pipex is an absolute nightmare. thanks to the HOFF.

i use dreamhost myself and it's wicked.
