Anywhere good to eat near the Electric Ballroom?

I used to go to the Fez in Reading (or Poo-Na-Na's as it was then) back when I was a student 96-99. Monday night was funk night, courtesy of some guy who considered himself integral in the 70's revival. Many a flaming sambuca, tequila slammer and stolen tealight holder, plus nearly falling into the canal round the back on the way home. Always preferred JW's thursday jazz night tho...

I noticed as well the amount of people riding mountain bikes with suspension, surprised me. I hate suspension on the road.

haha, that's such a cool name! I'd love the funk night... It's a really nice venue, just the right size and not too far from home for me.
