They're not thermos bottles though, just alu bottles. So they'll cool too quick.

From the FAQ: Around 60 miles out the village hall at Great Waldingfield is specially opened by lovely people and you can buy hot drinks and good basic food there. Best avoid the siren call of the open pubs. Unless of course you need coffee/loo. A few all-night garages can be handy.

I guess that means there are some garages on the way?? Anyone done this before know whether or not I can get coffee at 2-3am?

Nup. But I might be riding it fixed - won a saddle on ebay and the bike's getting its fork swap. Cog off DaveK and some riding and we're sorted!
Could get the £10 red Thermos - it seems to fit. Cold coffee better than no coffee!
