I like to join in. Put me on the list. Looking forward to the ride. I am not the fastest neither, although riding fixed for quite a while now my bike is overgeared as well and a bit worn out.

• #88
was there a decision on the meeting point/pub???
-
• #89
Err, not quite. Someone pick a good pub on Tooley Street and I'll see y'all there!
-
• #90
only one i know was the elusive camel, but its changed its name to the tower bar or something....no idea what its like now....
-
• #91
Barring unforseen circumstances, etc, I'm in.
I see the route passes by the flat where I spent most of my life.
So although it isn't a bridge, I bagsy Old Marylebone Road (@ km 43).
I know nothing about the pubs in Tooley St, so I'll just turn up wherever you lot are going to be.

If I get a chance I'll try and do a print out on the plotter at work (like the one I did for the Thorpe Park ride)
Can't guarantee I'll have time but I'm sure one of us will have an A-Z as a last resort.

I'd be up for this
I normally avoid London Bridge/Tooley St pubs like the plague because of the commuter crowd, & the Brewery Tap for other reasons, generally offy & down by the river.
But bike friendly would probably be either meet at the Design Museum glass cabinet for (shiver) All bar one, view of bikes from the terrace outside, & good start for Tower Bridger;

or the other side of Tower Bridge Rd., the Hornimans @ Hays Galleria on the river by HMS Belfast, outside tables, shit service, but plenty of places for bikes in view.

elusive camel is here, never been in it
-
• #98
hmm...meet at pub or the design musem glass cabinet? glass cabinet migh tbe good?
-
• #99
just in case I left that open to interpretation, it wasn't meant to read glass cabinet vs. pub, just that the glass cabinet is by the pub (albeit an all bar 1 pub) & there are lots of bike parking places there

let's meet in st katerine's wharf if we wanna meet up pn the north side or under the mayor's nu office in more london if we wanna meet on the south side, then pub or whatever, noting rong wif cans and bottles innit?
I dont think the pace on this ride will be too much. its central london after all and there is bound to be times when we get split up etc.
